Moral values and positive thinking should be inculcated in children – Pankaj Holkar
Dehradun – Children’s Day was celebrated at Edify World School in a very dignified and enthusiastic atmosphere. The program began with a prayer meeting conducted by the teachers. Through prayer, moral values and positive thinking were inculcated in the children. Following the prayer meeting, the teachers presented a musical performance for the students. The melodious songs sung by the teachers made the celebration harmonious and joyful.
At the keynote address, the school’s Director, respected Advocate Pankaj Holkar, addressed the students. In his address, he highlighted the historical and educational significance of Children’s Day and encouraged children to progress with diligence, discipline, and human compassion. Following this, Principal Harleen Kaur Chaudhary addressed the children, recalling the ideals of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and his love for children.
Friendly competitions were also held between teachers and students during the event, with tug-of-war and cricket being particular highlights. These sports activities fostered team spirit, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude toward sports among the children.
